For my Honors-in-the-Major project for my BFA in Graphic Design, I chose to create a perzine-style graphic narrative about my experience with chronic migraine. Over the course of five months, I researched and completed the ideation, sketching, writing, development, and eventual actualization of the book. The final product is 38 pages of full-color illustration and storytelling. Throughout the process, I used a combination of physical sketches and the Procreate app to develop the style I wanted to use, then created the final illustrations in Procreate as well. At the end, Adobe InDesign was my best friend in terms of incorporating the text as well as setting up the document properly for print.
